At one time, wine making was a popular hobby that was undertaken by many immigrants to the United States during the early part of the 20th century. In time, this hobby somewhat faded away from popularity and this was a shame. Homemade wine is not only wonderful to drink it is also a great deal of fun to make. Thankfully, the popularity of homemade wine has increased tremendously in recent years and more and more people are taking to it as a fun hobby that has the fringe benefit of supplying unlimited quantities of wine and spirits! And, no, this is no where near as hard of a hobby as many people may think

British cuisine has always suffered from bad press. The simple homespun fare and plain preparation of most traditional British foods pales when compared to French haute cuisine, and it’s not uncommon for food critics to sound almost apologetic when writing about traditional British dishes as if there were something shameful in enjoying a good, thick joint of beef with an accompaniment of Yorkshire pudding. If they speak in glowing terms of anything at all, it is a nod to the clever naming of British foods, where dishes like bubble and squeak and spotted dick appear on restaurant menus. And yet, for all the snickering and apologetic references, British cuisine at its best is hearty, delicious, simple fare on which to fuel the nation that influenced the entire world.

Drinking water is essential to humans. Adults lose about 10 glasses of water daily. Some is replenished in the food we eat, and some is replenished in beverages, but most is replenished in the form of drinking water. Some people are claiming that room-temperature drinking water is the only good water. Others claim it should be warm or icy or cold drinking water. Who is right? More than two thirds of a human’s weight is water. The human brain is 95% water and human blood is 82%. Old Dan’s rider would show signs of dehydration if he lost as little as 2% of his body’s water.
