If you want to know how you can stop food cravings then you need to eat less – that’s the straight forward answer. I have heard this line so many times before and used to say it a lot at high school, at home at work and while with my friends. Let me spend a few minutes sharing about food cravings deficiency.

It is not eating too much that causes food cravings or gaining of weight instead it is the selection of food you indulge in. Eating certain kinds of food may lead you to exacerbating your food cravings and eating healthy or some other foods may help you develop the ability to stop them. This “good” food has the power to enable you to stop your cravings. For instance, B vitamins can help you stop them if you take them as prescribed. The vitamins will help adjust the rate of food break-down i.e. metabolism, in your body. There is plenty if food that contains b-complex vitamins. For example, you can find them in nuts, whole-grain cereals fruits, leafy green vegetables, whole-grain cereals fruits, rice, meats, eggs, milk and fish.

Now the most common cause of food cravings are the imbalances in the chemical orientation in our bodies or system and if you need to gain access to the right nutrients for your body then you should consider eating the right kind of food and thus help restore chemical imbalances. This is true even for woman who are premenstrual and want some foods that fight PMS.

This is why you will often come across commercial that promote weight loss programs saying you do not have to cut back on your eating habits. The people who develop such products basically come up with some anti depressants that help produce the kind of resources, which are used to stimulate the production of certain resources in order to stay free from cracing food and also keep the body in a good state. These scientists have spent years studying the human anatomy and have come up with the best tools or resources to help your body and to keep it healthy, do away with desires to eatand shed some baggage without changing much on your eating patterns.

Even though I cannot deny the effectiveness of antidepressants, I am not, however,  fully sold out to them mostly because they tend to have side effects for some people who use them such a irritability, nausea, etc. I believe in natural ways to curb food cravings and you can do this by first understanding the structure of your chemicals in the body and then help balance it up by eating the right kind of food.

I trust so far you can relate even if you are specifically concerned about sugar cravings

You don’t have to pay a cent to gain control of your eating habits. For instance, when I am asked, why does PMS cause food cravings and what can I do?, I usually recommend the following, watch your emotional triggers that provoke your cravings, you can also improve your mood by excercising, each time you feel a bit hungry or just desiring food just drink a glass of water also try to find other replacements for what you eat for instance find some low fat snacks or something better like fruits.
