When you have the correct information right in front of you it is much easier to build muscle mass. With the correct information at your finger tips, you’ll have the knowledge to increase your muscle mass much quicker than you ever thought possible.

If you’ve had it with your present muscle gains and are ready to give up, I understand exactly what you are going through. I was lifting weights for quite a few years before I finally realized the correct way to gain quality muscle mass.

This is when I discovered a gentleman by the name of Jason Ferruggia. Jason has sacrificed more than 17 years weightlifting including 14 years as a personal instructor. He is a professional strength & conditioning coach, trainer, lecturer and consultant. He has been featured in magazines such as Men’s Fitness, Men’s Health and Maximum Fitness.

Below are some of the weight training techniques I’ve learned from Jason. I have found these tips to be very effective in building muscle mass and increasing strength as quickly as possible.

Do each exercise to fatigue utilizing the proper weight for 3 sets of 8-10 repetitions. When performing these exercises you are better off using free weights instead of machines, but you will have to watch your form.

Your muscles will never grow at the proper rate if you don’t allow enough recovery time in between workout sessions. Your should check your recovery methods if you find that you are not making some progress from week to week. Always allow your muscles to rest so they can keep growing.

Be sure to set some goals for yourself. Ask yourself this question, what would I like to accomplish. Where do you see see your body in three months and then in a year? Do you want to lift weights to gain strength for sports? Is looking good at the beach the reason you want to lift weights? Are you lifting weights to get stronger? You will have tremendous motivation to continue lifting weights once you have discovered why you want to lift weights.
